A non profit organization is an organization which does not work for monetary or any other kind of financial benefit. They work for the welfare of the society and whatever they earn they do not distribute it among the share holders and owners of the organization and use that earned money towards the mission of the organization. A non profit annual report is the report of such an organization though non profit organizations do not require such reports to show there financial results but they are important to reveal the facts about the funds and usage of the money that has been done in a specific period. The non profit organizations are often charity foundations or society benefit organizations. The non profit annual report focuses more on giving the information to the contributors and public about the accomplishments and how well they are working towards there goal. It does not contain anything regarding the monetary profit they have made in that year. For a small non profit organization the non profit report can be made by the employees of the organization who are good at making it but for a large organization the report can be made by a specialist agency who works for this only. 

For a small organization the non profit annual report can be simple and short but for a large organization it can get complex and large as the details will be lengthier. The report can contain the director's message with thanks to the contributors and donors. The annual report should show the accomplishments of the organization and should contain data about the events that are organized by the foundation. Pictures and testimonials from the guest at the event can be added in the non profit annual report. It should also contain the information about the internal meetings of the organization and who all attended the meeting. 

The report should also contain facts and figures about the staff of the organization. The annual report should be made in such a manner that it should thank the current associated contributors of the organization but also invite the future donors too. The non profit annual report should depict the future course of action of the organization and in which new stream they are about to enter and what are the demands of the organization for these new projects from their contributors. The structure of the organization should also be given in the report and honesty should be shown while making report.
